Project Overview

Yuhui Die Casting joined forces with a major communications equipment manufacturer to produce aluminum alloy heat sinks for communication base stations. The goal was to provide components that could withstand high temperatures, offer excellent heat dissipation, and maintain precision manufacturing to ensure long-term performance and reliability.

Challenges:

1.Effective Thermal Conductivity: The heat sink had to efficiently dissipate the heat generated by the base station, requiring high thermal conductivity.

2.Durability and Corrosion Resistance: The parts would be exposed to harsh outdoor environments, requiring them to be strong enough to withstand impacts and resistant to corrosion from the elements.

3.Complex Design Specifications: The heat sink needed intricate internal cooling channels and an external shape that met precise installation requirements.

● Optimized Mold Design: Using advanced CAE software, we created a mold that maximized thermal conductivity while maintaining the part's structural strength.

● High-Precision Die Casting: Our 2000T die-casting equipment ensured that every heat sink met strict dimensional tolerances and passed air-tightness and thermal conductivity tests.

● Anodized Coating for Durability: We applied anodizing to enhance corrosion resistance and weatherproofing, ensuring that the components would stand up to long-term outdoor use.

● High-Precision CNC Machining: With our 5-axis machining capabilities, we ensured every part met precise installation and dimensional requirements.
